(Owen 2 Years - Lucy 8 Months)
Finally....our much anticipated beach vacation had arrived! OBX watch out! We rented an oceanfront house for a week in the Outer Banks, Corolla - Whalehead Beach with our families. CiCi and Pappy, Darby and Pat, Nana and PaPa and Greg and Krista. I don't care what anyone tells you, there is no beating oceanfront...it is worth every penny!!! Especially with two little kids! To be able to go back and forth to the house quickly and easily and grab food, bottles, naps, etc. was a godsend.
I even had a chance to work on my photography while on the trip. We scheduled a family photo shoot, an engagement photo shoot for Darby and Pat, and Greg and Krista wanted some couples pictures taken of them as well. I had a great time with these! Thank you to the whole family for getting up at 6:00 AM to be on the beach for the best lighting! We had such a good time with our families and would love to make it an annual or bi-annual trip....hopefully Owen and Lucy will get some cousins to play with one of these days!

This is the night we had the largest steaks I have ever seen! Thank you Nana and PaPa for the enormous pieces of beef. Rumor has it the butcher came out to shake Jeffie's hand when he picked them up!
The trip also included Owen's first popsicle!
