Mealtime can sometimes be quite stressful in this house. Between Owen not wanting to eat and Lucy throwing everything on the floor it can get quite frustrating. So when I can get Owen to eat all of his peas that is a huge accomplishment. I started using his love of counting to get him to eat every pea on his plate. All I have to do is line them up on the table and he counts them as he eats them and then even asks for more! SUCCESS!
