Rome - Day 3

Today we went on a tour of the Vacatian with the Rome Walks Tour Company. I highly recommend this tour company, they keep their groups really small, no more than 10 people, and have really knowledgeable guides. Our only complaint was that it was supposed to be a 4 hour tour but extended into 6 hours! We were exhausted by the end but got to see the amazing Sistine Chapel. There are no pictures because you are not allowed to photograph due to the fact that Nikon bought the rights to the chapel for 25 years. Another highlight was St. Peter's....it was truly breathtaking and the pictures do not do it justice.

Drew's feelings on the 6 hour tour!

Since it was my birthday today all I wanted to do was go to the Colosseum to get a nighttime photograph. After the 6 hour tour Drew was a great sport and went with me to the Colosseum. We then had an amazing birthday dinner at a restaurant with a fabulous view of the Colosseum. Here are some of the night photographs....Happy Birthday to ME!
