As an end to the summer draws near we decided to take a trip to Dutch Wonderland a small amusement park and water park in Lancaster, PA. I brought along CiCi, Pappy and Aunt Darby for help and we went during the week hoping the crowds would be smaller. We left at around 8:30 AM and the drive was only about an hour and 30 minutes. We arrived just as the gates were opening and hit the rides first. Owen loved the choo choo and the airplanes (he went twice). Lucy really liked the choo choo and the trucks.
We grabbed lunch at the Merlin's Restaurant before the lunch crowd at 11:30 and then hit the water park because it was getting HOT! The water park was great and there were some perfect water slides just the right size for the little kids. Lucy loved the slides and went down several times and a couple by herself.
