I guess I have been taking an enormous amount of pictures of Lucy lately...when Owen is in school it gives us the perfect opportunity. I got her a pink tutu at Target the other day and she loves to wear it...not necessarily always around her waist :) Our little princess.

I took these pictures the other day of Owen playing with Aunt Darby's water bottle in the kitchen. I mainly wanted to show everyone the before pictures of our hideous kitchen....I cannot wait to get this thing ripped apart! Once we get underway with the construction I will post some updates on the blog!

As Lucy's hair grows longer and longer her curls just seem to get cuter :) Sometimes they look like little corkscrews and I just can't stop taking pictures of them!

Our wonderful neighbors offered us their daughter's old playhouse and I went to pick it up yesterday all by myself. I brought it home and scrubbed it and hosed it down and the kids got up from their nap to a big surprise in the backyard. They were so excited! Owen wanted to go play in his house again today but sadly it poured rain all day and he looked out the window and said, "play in house"...sorry buddy!

Project 365 - DAY 112

Today we went for breakfast and then to visit Great Grandmother, Mimi. The kids were both excited to go to "mimi's house." She has a beautiful garden at the home and Owen enjoyed "running" the trails through the garden. There was even a pond with fish, turtles, a duck, and a frog....it was like going to the zoo. Mimi really enjoyed the visit and the kids had a blast running around the home and saying "hi" and "bye bye" to all of the residents in the halls! I think they brightened the day of several of the folks :)

Project 365 - DAY 111

I decided I couldn't go 2-3 weeks without using my camera...and I have developed such great momentum with this project...it was hard to let go. So I got out the kit lens that came with my camera and snapped that baby on. It wasn't as bad as I remember and even gave me some wide angle shots....but still is not as sharp as my 50 mm baby :(
I took Owen and Lucy out to the Perkiomen Trail this afternoon for a walk and we happened to see the high school track team out on a run. Owen wanted to get out of the stroller and walk so I let him and he took off with the group running. He tried to keep up as best he could and he ran about a 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile in his crocs! Today I say "I took my 3 year old out for a jog!" Here's the proof...

We had a little picnic today...truck, pillow and elephant were all in attendance.
This may be my last post for awhile....I turned in my canon lens for repair yesterday and it may be two weeks til it is fixed :(
I may have to break out my old crappy lens.

Well....I now have a broken camera and I am so bummed. This project may have to be on hold until I can get it fixed :( I may have a few more photos in the archives I can post til then.
Lucy has really started organizing. The other day she took every "single" block from the block container and organized them on the TV stand....one by one. It was fun to watch her go through the blocks looking for just the right ones :)

Today our extended family got together to celebrate a very special birthday. Aunt Betty ("Gran") celebrated her 90th birthday with a surprise party at Uncle Art and Linda's house. It was a great chance for the family to all be together, even though we spent most of the day chasing Owen from room to room or around the property. Great weather, almost 80!
